How co-op works
The entire campaign is designed for exactly two players. Partners can share one system in split-screen couch co-op or play together online; there is no solo mode or AI partner. The Switch 2 release also supports local wireless GameShare from a Switch 2 host.
Crossplay support
Online crossplay works across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Cross-platform invitations require each player to link a free EA Account to the platform account they use.
How many copies are required?
Couch co-op needs one full copy on the shared system. For online co-op, one owner can invite a second player who installs the free Friend's Pass; both players need an internet connection and the applicable platform accounts or online memberships. Nintendo Switch 2 online play requires Nintendo Switch Online.
